This Falconry Experience is a fascinating introduction to an ancient and intriguing pursuit. See the extraordinary relationship between man and bird of prey and experience the thrill of flying a bird yourself. |
What Your Experience Includes
You will be given an overview of the disciplines and history of falconry. This will be followed by a brief introduction to the husbandry and welfare of birds and the equipment used in falconry. The course will end with the opportunity to fly a bird "to the fist" so you can experience the unforgettable sensation of having a magnificent bird of prey on your arm. You will share this experience with up to 12 other voucher holders depending on location.

Restrictions
General fitness is required as there can be a lot of walking involved.
You must be at least 16 years old to do this activity and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
No previous falconry experience is necessary.

Other Information
You
will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher
(valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading
on the Falconry Experience (half day) and details of how to book a date.
Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along
with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details
are enclosed within the voucher pack.

Please allow 3-5 working days for 1st class delivery and 2 working
