Our commitment to you
We pride ourselves on providing the highest possible levels of customer
service and problems are rare, but we ask that you familiarise yourself with
the Terms and Conditions before buying an activity pack. These terms and conditions
form the basis of a contract between us (Experience Mad) and you (the purchaser).
In addition, our suppliers have their own Terms and Conditions, details of which
are provided on the activity information page. By purchasing an experience voucher
from us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as well as those of the
supplier of the activity.
Website description and photography
We have tried hard to ensure that descriptions and illustrations used
on our website are accurate. However, photographs are intended to give a general
idea of the activity described and do not form part of any contract between
you and Experience Mad.
Insurance
Personal accident and cancellation insurance (because
of illness or death in your immediate family) may be included in the cost of
this experience. Please check the activity information page for confirmation
of the cover provided with the experience. Details are also included in your
activity pack. Insurance claims are subject to approval of a doctor’s
certificate.
Voucher validity
Please check the activity information page for the actual
period of validity. Vouchers are valid for between 6 and 12 months, depending
upon supplier. The expiry date will be printed on your voucher.
Exchanges
If you or your recipient are not satisfied with this
experience you may exchange it with an alternative experience from the supplier's
range within 30 days of the voucher issue date, provided that the substitute
voucher is of the same or greater value and subject to written confirmation
by email or letter. A supplement will be payable
if the chosen activity costs more than the original activity. Only one exchange
is allowed.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your activity voucher pack,
please contact us by letter or email within 14 days and we will happily arrange
a full refund. If you choose to return the pack after this date, refunds will
incur an administration fee of 25% of the cost of the voucher, with a minimum
fee of £25. Refunds will be made in the same form as payment was received
(if you paid by credit card, the refund will go back to that credit card account)
and to the purchaser only.
Suppliers
This activity is provided by a supplier who is neither
employed by, nor acting as an agent of, Experience Mad. We are unable to examine
all the equipment or facilities of every single supplier, nor are we able to
vet every single one of their employees. Consequently, Experience Mad cannot
accept liability for any act or omission or negligence of a supplier, nor any
other liability arising out of the provision of the activities to you. Experience
Mad does not accept liability for damage to property or consequential loss or
injury of any kind except where death or injury is caused by the negligence
of Experience Mad or its servants or agents. In no circumstances shall Experience
Mad’s total liability for any claim exceed the price of the voucher or
product supplied.
Age, size and health restrictions
For safety reasons, this activity may have certain age,
size and health restrictions. Details of any restrictions can be found on the
information page of this website for this experience (see the Notes section).
Activity timings
These are given as a guide only, and you may be required
to wait between different elements of the activity alongside other participants.
If your activity is cancelled or changed
Occasionally our suppliers are forced to cancel or change
your activity. If this happens you will be informed as soon as possible. We
and our suppliers will do our very best to offer an alternative date or location.
If specific celebrities or vehicles are featured but are not available on the
day for reasons beyond our suppliers' control, the best possible replacement
will be found. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to cancel your
activity at short notice and re-book it. Our suppliers reserve the right to
reschedule the timings or location of any activity owing to unavailability of
the activity, insufficient numbers making the activity unavailable, and other
factors beyond their control.
We reserve the right to discontinue an activity, venue, or individual supplier at our own discretion. If a suitable alternative is not available, we will refund your voucher in full, or exchange it for an alternative activity of the same value (or higher, if the purchaser pays the difference in price).
We also reserve the right to make minor changes to your activity. Examples of minor changes include car specification, or order of activities on a particular day.
If you cancel or change your activity booking we will do our best to fill your space and avoid supplier cancellation charges, but if we are unable to do so, you may lose your booking. Supplier cancellation policies vary.
Weather
This activity may be cancelled due to weather conditions
or for other reasons beyond our control. Your supplier information sheet will
advise you if you need to call the supplier to check weather conditions or a
flight information line before participating. If your event is cancelled because
of the weather, it will be re-booked for a date on which you are able to attend.
Experience Mad is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or other incidental
expenses incurred by you in attending an activity which is cancelled due to
weather conditions, or to mechanical breakdowns outside the control of Experience
Mad or the supplier.
In case of problems
In the case of a problem occurring, please speak to the
supplier on the day, so they have the opportunity to resolve any problems there
and then. Any other complaints should be addressed to Experience Mad, who will
take up the problem with the supplier.
Prices
Prices are correct at the time of going to press, but
we reserve the right to change prices without notice, provided we inform you
at the time of order. Vouchers will not be issued until payment is collected
in full. Prices include VAT and information packs, and postage.
